So today everyone is wondering what a trillion dollars looks like. I must say, I am ever-so-slightly intrigued. But only for a trillion dollars. I assume everyone has seen a million dollars? I certainly have, given that most of my furniture is made for stacks of 100 dollar bills.
So let’s go through it.
This is what $10,000 looks like. We call this a packet.
Fine. A nice little chunk of cash. Nothing radical – but a sensible amount to carry around. To the beach, or when you visit your grandma.
Now, 100 of those packets equals $1 million. Which we call a pile.
It’s a wank-off really, size wise, don’t you think? I could fit that in my cubby hole.
Let’s check out $100 million. This we call a pallet.
That’s a bit better. Something that needs an entire boot to carry around.
Now let’s pump it up to some serious amounts of money. Like, say $1 billion. Which will be 10 pallets.
Pretty sick!
Now let’s take a big jump and have a look at $1 trillion. 1 trillion is obviously 1,000 billion. Or a 1, followed by 12 zeros.
Like this : 1,000,000,000,000
It’s pretty serious.
It won’t fit into your cubby hole.
It probably won’t fit into your home.
Or your garden.
Check it out. This is what one trillion dollars looks like (using DOUBLE stacked pallets):
Can you see the human on the far left corner?
Pretty sick!
THAT’s where you need to get to!
The Euromillions lottery would be a good start (we chatted about this the other day – it’s got to do with your attitude), or the GreatOdds sports betting website!
It’s too easy if you ask me!
