I made up a saying a while ago and it goes, “Where there’s smoke, there’s fire.” Once again, another one of my sayings are proven, as you will see below.
Earlier on we brought you breaking news of the bus on fire on Hertzog Blvd. in central Cape Town. Those pics came, as usual, from one of our genius 2oceansvibe readers. But there is nothing better than getting ANOTHER reader, from the OTHER side of Hertzog Blvd. sending in pics from another angle! That, my friends, is a wonderful achievement.
I call it, “The Burning Bus”Sources have mentioned the word “explosion” but I don’t think we should jump to any conclusions. It could have easily been the petrol tank of the bus exploding.
Or, as I said earlier, spontaneous combustion.
