Desperate to complete a swift sale, the owner of one of the world’s most opulent yachts is offering an £8 million reduction to seal a deal within the next 30 days.
“The current global economic conditions have produced a number of interesting opportunities on the large yacht market,” said brokers Edmiston, in an e-mail to clients.
“The brand new 50 metre Benetti, Alibella [has been] reduced in price by EUR 9.5 million … the owner will sell at this massively reduced price if the deal can be completed in under 30 days.”

The six cabin, 14-berth Alibella has gold leaf and marble finishing and a helipad. She was launched just six months ago, and is said to be one of a number of super-yachts to receive dramatic sale price reductions in recent weeks. The price-tag is now just a cool EUR 24.5 million.
