I popped into Societi Restaurant on Orange Street in Gardens this morning for some creative writing with Iron Mike, and spotted this sign.
“It’s a life’s tile“
See what they did there? They took the word “lifestyle” and changed it, to incorporate their product. ‘Cos they sell tiles, you see. So it becomes “life’s tile.”
“oooooh, okaaay – I get it! LIFE’S TILE, instead of LIFESTYLE! Brilliant!”
And then the visual integration of everything – the rug, the coffee and the high heel. So it represents a lifestyle. Either that, or some post rug-sex-morning-after-how-about-coffee-no-sorry-I-must-get-going vibe.
Very interesting indeed.
And hats off to Societi for providing a stunning little courtyard with vista’s of Table Mountain.
