PLETTENBERG BAY STORMS PUNISH REAL ESTATE

The Muse is native to Plettenberg Bay and is therefore the source of these random Plettenberg Bay posts. Plett always was, and still is a part of our lives in Cape Town, so it works out pretty well.

I was recently forwarded these pics taken during last week’s storms.

“Yes, but in clause 15 it mentions
‘in the unlikely event of an Act of God'”

You will notice incredibly powerful waves threatening to swallow the Beacon Island Hotel in Plett, as well as that yellow guest house next to The Lookout Deck (which still manages to maintain that tricky combination of appalling service and unsanitary upkeep) struggling desperately against the elements.

When will Al Gore stop punishing us?
